Reusable Cloth Pads

Time to ditch the disposables and make the switch to reusable cloth pads? 

Disposable pads use so much plastic and these are hands down one of the best reusable swaps and one of the easiest. 

These pads are super comfortable and slimline. The upper layer is made from a soft breathable cotton jersey, inside is a super absorbent, quick-drying, lightweight fabric called Zorb, which is made out of a mixture of cotton, tencel, bamboo and polyester.  For extra peace of mind and added protection, the outer layer is made from a printed waterproof PUL (a laminated polyester) which is breathable and waterproof. The pads are secured with KAMS poppers. 

The pads come in different sizes, colours and absorbance variations. The liner and normal flow pads come with one layer of zorb, the heavy pads come with two layers of zorb. 

The different sizes available are- 

8” liners- for light to normal flow.

10” normal flow

10” heavy flow

12” normal flow

12” heavy flow

They come in five different prints with either a black or white cotton upper. The rainbow, palm tree and blue marble fabric come with a white cotton upper. The cactus and rain clouds come with a black cotton upper. 

Care instructions- To avoid staining, rinse the pad with cold water, if the stain is stubborn use soap to remove the stain  The pad can be left to soak or washed straight away with your usual washing. Wash at 40C with a mild non-bio detergent, do not use fabric conditioner or iron. Line dry the pad. 

For ease of storage and use, matching bags are available. These are made from the printed PUL and come with two zipper compartments, so clean and used pads can be stored separately. It comes with a handy popper handle, so can be hung up. The bag measures 23cm by 16cm and can be washed at 40C, the same as the pads.
